To ensure that our Landlords and Tenants can be confident that their interests and money are fully protected Pennington Properties are members of the following professional bodies:

Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA)

ARLA ARLA is the only professional body that is solely concerned with the regulation of letting agents. In order to become a member of ARLA, an agent must be prepared to comply with their strict Code of Practice which includes an independent annual audit of the agent's client accounts. ARLA member firms are required to employ at least one qualified member of staff in each office who can be identified by the letters MARLA after their names. Our ARLA membership number is: 51193.

The Tenancy Deposit Scheme

The Dispute Service The Tenancy Deposit Scheme operated by The Dispute Service is one of three schemes introduced by the Government in April 2007 to protect tenants deposits from misappropriation by rogue landlords and letting agents. The scheme requires the agent to register the tenants deposit within 30 days of receipt. At the end of the tenancy, should there be a dispute over dilapidation that cannot be settled by negotiation between the agent and/or landlord and tenant, then the disputed amount will be referred to the TDS for an independent adjudication. Our TDS membership number is: G01420.
